Welcome to Day 30 of the challenge. The last one.
When we started, AI was probably a chat box you opened now and then and closed again, unsure. Look at what’s true now.
You have a folder that knows you. A money model. A one-page site. A handful of helpers doing real jobs, some on a schedule while you sleep. A resource your audience can use. A second brain you can think out loud with. And a whole system that can take a real problem and go to work on it.
You didn’t read about AI for a month. You built with it.
A word before we start
The thing I most want you to take from this isn’t any one of the tools. The tools will change every six months. They always do.
It’s the posture. Curious. Unbothered. Willing to open the thing and have a go. That is the whole skill, and you have it now. It is the part that lasts.
A last look back (do this one, it matters)
Step 1.
Open Cowork in your desktop app, pointed at your Switched-On folder. Opus. One last prompt:
Read my whole folder and my MEMORY file.
I’ve just finished a thirty-day AI challenge.
Write me a warm, frank note on how far I’ve come, what I built, and the one thing I should do next to keep the momentum.
In my voice.
Step 2.
Read it. Yes, it will get you a bit. Save it for the day you forget how capable you are. Then do the one next thing it named, today, while you still feel ten feet tall.
The bigger thing
Switched On exists to help ambitious people become AI confident, curious and capable, while staying completely, unmistakably themselves. Making this challenge is what crystallised it, and it’s the heart of everything I do now.
I want to be your translator, your protagonist and your practitioner. The one in the room actually doing it, not just talking about it. I’m deep in tools like Codex, Perplexity and computer use right now, and I’ll be getting specific about how I use them, with you.
A few ways forward, if any of it’s useful: keep following along, have me come into your office or run a workshop for your team, or just stay on the list while I share more.
And one genuine ask. Tell me what you want more of. Reply to this email. I read every one, and what you say shapes what I build next.
Carry the line out with you
One thing to take into the rest of your AI life. The line you drew on Day 16 and held all month. AI builds, you stay the author. The quality bar doesn’t drop because a machine helped. Hold that, and you’ll never produce slop in your own name. You’ve proved you don’t have to.
Key takeaway
You came in worried you were behind. You leave having built more than most people will all year. That isn’t luck, and it isn’t the tools. That’s you, switched on.
It was always the game. It’s yours to play.
One last thing
Thank you. For the weeks, the late days included. For showing up, for the brave folder, for the screenshots, for the things you built and the ones you gave away.
Now go and be impossible to ignore. By humans, and by the machines.
