Day 25: Talk to your second brain.
Three weeks of files in one folder. Today you point Claude at all of it and ask the questions only someone who knows you could answer.
Welcome to Day 25 of the challenge.
For three weeks you’ve been filling a folder. Who you are. How you sound. Who you serve. How the money works. What you’re known for. The decisions you’ve made. Some days it felt like admin. It wasn’t.
Today you find out why. You point Claude at the whole folder and have a conversation you can’t have with anyone else, because nobody else has read all of it at once.
A word before we start
A chatbot starts cold every time. Your folder means Claude starts knowing you. The gap between “give me advice” and “given everything you know about me, what would you say” is the gap between a search engine and a counsel.
One honest framing. This is reflection, not prophecy. A sharp mirror, not a fortune teller. Use it to see yourself more clearly, then you decide.
Step by step
Step 1.
Open Cowork in your desktop app, pointed at your Switched-On folder. Opus for this one.
Step 2.
Let it read everything, then hold up the mirror. Paste this to Claude:
Read every file in this folder. You now have my about-me, my voice, my audience, my business, my pillars and my decisions. Before I ask you anything, tell me the three things you notice about me that I might not see myself. Be honest, not flattering.
Step 3.
Sit with what comes back. It will name a pattern you have been living inside and not quite seeing.
Step 4.
Now ask the big ones. A few worth your time:
Given everything you know about me, what should I focus on for the next ninety days, and what should I drop?
Where am I inconsistent? Where does what I say I value not match what my files show I actually do?
What am I sitting on? The thing I keep circling but never commit to.
What is the one throughline of my whole year that I haven’t named yet?
Step 5.
Keep what lands.
Save the sharpest things from this conversation as a dated note in my folder. These are the ones to act on.
A safety note
This folder is the most personal thing you’ve built in this challenge. Keep it local, keep it yours.
And remember the mirror only reflects what you fed it. If a file is thin or out of date, the answer will be too. When something feels off, that is usually the file talking, not you. Update it and ask again.
What you’ll notice
It says something true that you’d half-buried. Not because it is clever, but because it read all of you at once, and you almost never do. Most of us hold our own story in fragments. Today you see it whole.
Why this works
Every file you built this month was an investment. Today it pays out. This is the whole reason context matters: the same question, asked of a tool that knows you, gives an answer worth having. You did not build a tidy folder. You built a thinking partner.
Key takeaway
A chatbot answers questions. A second brain answers YOUR questions, because it knows you. You spent three weeks building one. Use it for the hard thinking, not just the busy work.
Where this is heading
Tomorrow we make something with all of this. Not a post. A real thing your audience can use.
Tomorrow on Switched On
Day 26: Build something your audience can use.
A resource, a tool, something genuinely useful with your name on it. The kind of thing people keep.
